Moore BRL receives the “Silver Medal” from EcoVadis for sustainability performance
Moore BRL GmbH, as part of the BRL Group, was awarded the “Silver Medal” in July as part of the global EcoVadis sustainability certification.
Moore BRL achieved 68 out of 100 points, putting the company in the top 15 percent of companies certified by EcoVadis worldwide.
EcoVadis is the global standard for sustainability assessments of companies. EcoVadis certification evaluates 21 sustainability criteria in four core areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Since its foundation in 2007, more than 130,000 companies worldwide have been assessed by EcoVadis.
Dr Oliver Bungartz, Partner and Head of Serviceline Risk Advisory Services (RAS) and member of the BRL Partner Council, emphasizes: “The EcoVadis assessment confirms our commitment to sustainability externally and is an additional incentive internally to improve even further in this area. The central basis of our certification is a comprehensive Compliance Management System (CMS) that we have set up for the entire BRL Group.”
The EcoVadis sustainability assessments are based on international sustainability standards such as the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, the conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the ISO 26000 standard. The assessments provide a sound analysis of performance and an actionable roadmap for continuous improvement.
