BRL is an international partnership of lawyers, accountants and tax advisors founded in 2006. Today we are represented by over 250 employees in Hamburg, Berlin, Bochum, Hanover, Dortmund and Frankfurt. With its own company for international mandates, and via a global network of independent auditory and tax advisory companies, BRL is ideally positioned to handle crossnational matters for
clients quickly and dependably.
It all started on an island
In 2006 five associated professionals, Holger Böge, Thilo Rohde, Dr Thomas Lübbehüsen, Dr Oliver Tomat and Stefan Denkhaus, got together on the North Sea island of Juist. They had a specific purpose in mind – to make legal advice, auditing, tax advice and restructuring and insolvency services more efficient and transparent for clients. All services would come from a single source. From this lofty goal grew the modern, multidisciplinary commercial law firm of BRL. Today, the firm employs more than 250 people at six locations in Germany. Its all-inclusive professional service approach has made BRL demonstrably one of Germany’s leading commercial law firms.
And the name, BRL? That comes from the initials of three of the five founding partners: BOEGE ROHDE LUEBBEHUESEN.
Good client relations are no accident
Multidisciplinary advice, high standards of quality, flexible capabilities and outstanding expertise have made BRL one of the top-tier resources for midtier, large and global players, as well as for specialist freelancers. A track record of matters handled for high-profile clients documents this and spurs us in our daily work.
Highly qualified attorneys, auditors and tax advisors
Clients turn to BRL because they know the firm has highly qualified attorneys, auditors and tax advisors with profound interdisciplinary knowledge and long-standing experience in their fields. Our expert professionals move with confidence not only in their own disciplines but also beyond. The benefits of this are particulary evident in our practice groups, where we
bundle our knowledge and expertise.
